Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor, an American screen and stage actress best recognized for her roles in films on the film Ray Undercover Brother and on the tv show The Mentalist. She graduated with an B.A. from African-American Studies, from Brown University. Her MFA is in acting from Tisch School at New York University. Aunjanue Ellis. Ellis, is an American actor and producer who has been in the theater and TV and films as well, is active on both sides of the screen. She began her career acting in the theatre but then proceeded to appear in many television series, mainstream and independent films. Her most well-known roles were in the role of Miranda Shaw (ABC's Quantico) as well as on BET's epic The Book of Negroes. The series both received praise from critics, and she also took home a variety of accolades. She made her professional acting debut as Ariel as Ariel in The Tempest in 1995. Alongside the Broadway production Come and Gone, she is also credited in Drowning Crow and Seeking the Genesis. Her most well-known work is her role in the series Men of Honor and the Caveman's Valentine The Express & The Help. Also, she is well-known for her role on ABC's crime drama High Incident.
