Sharon Yvonne Stone is the sole child of Dorothy Lawson (an accountant) and Joseph William Stone II, who was a manufacturer of tool and dies, as well as a former worker in a factory. Sharon was born on 10 March 1958, at Meadville Pennsylvania. She has three siblings: Michael, Kelly, and Patrick. Stone was considered academically gifted when she was a kid and started second grade at five. She earned a high school certificate at Saegertown located in Saegertown situated in Pennsylvania in the year 1975. She also competed and won at the Miss Pennsylvania beauty contest.
