Gemma arterton

Gemma Christina Arterton was born in the town of Gravesend, Kent. Greater London. She is most famous for playing roles in films including Quantum of Solace, The Disappearance of Alice Creed, as well as a myriad of other such as 'Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters. She began her career after having studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and then made her debut on film as a support role in the film comedy 'St. Trinian's'. In the James Bond film Quantum of Solace, which was released in the following days, she played a supporting role. It was an average film which was generally mediocre reviews. Later, she played the lead female in the fantasy action film "Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time". She played a role as an assistant in the French movie 'Orphan.' Arterton is nominated to win several awards in her entire career and out of these, she won the 'Empire Award for the best Newcomer' for 'Quantum of Solace', and also the "Evening Standard Theatre Award' for her role in the musical 'Made in Dagenham'.
